Feel Like the Money is Always Two Steps Ahead of You…
Limit Your Risks as an Internet Marketer

Body:

I'm sending this because I believe in “easy” money,
or should I say “easier” money.

I don’t understand some of you guys.

The goal of business is to make money. I understand everyone
has different talents, but there are certainly some ventures
where you have less of chance of succeed than others.
Frankly, seeing a lot of products on the IM market,
you guys are dancing around the dollars.

You want to invest thousands in apps, software,
blogging + adsense, affiliate sites, and other
far too complex business ideas. Some of these things
sound like passion project ideas rather real businesses.

You try validating using forums, friends and family.

But, you should validate with customers spending money,
rather than just saying they’d pay or that it sounds cool.

As an entrepreneur, I feel you should limit your risks,
at least in the beginning. Business ideas that have a
higher chance of success I see as your “margin of safety,” in your entrepreneurial journey.

If the goals are to quit your job or work from home,
there is nothing wrong with picking a less bumpy road.
You could freelance (for you app coders) or
start a product-based business and
complete that goal in one to six months.

Nothing wrong with these ideas,
but they should be additions to an already thriving
entrepreneur’s business portfolio rather than
your first entrepreneurial venture.

Exciting stuff is ahead.

Stay tuned…

Tim Ferriss Agrees: Physical Products Over Services
Why Tom’s has the Best Business Model

Body:

Why Services Lose Out

Customers will literally take it out of you. They demand the world,
and your time, which is warranted, they are getting your money,
but still…I became an entrepreneur to control my own time.
And I know what you’re thinking why not just
outsource everything.

When you don’t have the support of your family in your
entrepreneurial efforts and don’t have capital for hires
everything is on you. Taking care of lead generation,
sales, and delivery, will burn you out
pretty quickly.

Why Products Win Out

Products both digitally and physically allow
you to set and forget essentially. The most intensive part
of the whole process is product research and development.

Once that is over it’s pretty much a cakewalk
depending on the platforms you choose to advertise on.
Fulfillment options like Amazon’s FBA program is a Godsend.
Waking up every morning to money in your bank account
due to a little groundwork you put in
months ago is AWESOME.

The best part is no big outstanding arguments
with customers. Don’t like my product I have no
qualms giving a refund. It is some physical products
entrepreneurs’ favorite part of the business.

I don’t have to groom and coax customers
into a buy and customer acquisition is as easy as ever.
I may spend a bit on customer acquisition (usually PPC),
customers see my product; see my reviews, then decide
from there whether to purchase or not.

My day is my own to do with as I please.

No one puts this freedom to use as much as Blake Mycoskie,
founder of TOMS, the flexibility allowed in the
product-based business not only allowed him to fully
train a company president in just two months,
but allows him to go on a lot of speaking engagements,
as well as go on his company sponsored shoe drops to
the communities TOMS supports.

Not to mention, he has just launched a set of coffee products
with just 30 employees in the department. The fact company
as large as TOMS, only needs 30 people for a whole new
product category is insane, and helps you really see the
flexibility of the products business.

Products give you the feeling of freedom you sought
when you began your entrepreneurial journey.

Sick of Slimmer Profit Margins for Kindle Authors
No Money in Your Budget to Market Your Book
The Kindle Marketplace is TOO CROWDED
Still Struggling to make your Book Pop on Kindle
Sick of Pulling Teeth to get Reviews on your Kindle book

Body:

Let's face it, the kindle marketplace is waay too crowded.

Not to mention getting reviews for your kindle book is like pulling teeth!

I've done it all to get them...

I've gifted,
done KDP free select giveaways,
over-delivered on content adding bonus section after bonus section,
I've added 3 messages in the book
asking and stressing that fact that I need reviews.

The results were almost zero with those strategies.

The pricing of the kindle book
makes a marketing budget
hopeless as well.

When you are selling a book for $0.99-2.99,
profit margins are far too slim for a self-published
offer to promote their book.

My answer to all this is to move to a more profitable portion of Amazon...
the physical products section, Amazon's main bread and butter.

Want to Buy an Amazon Course? Let Me Save You 5000
Want to Buy an Ecom Course? Let Me Save You 5000
Today, I'm Going to Save You $5000 (keep in mind
there are many complexities to Amazon you
won't run into 99.9% of them)

If any of you have Facebook, and have any
entrepreneurial aspirations you’ve seen it.

It’s Amazon course season and the prices
are more ridiculous than ever. So I’m a going
to tell you to push the pause button on buying.

These courses promise you the world.

They offer “masterminds,” cool software, and
fancy getaways to Vegas maybe even Miami.

Well, I’ve sent this email to steer you in the right direction
and tell you everything you need to succeed
in the products business. Start small, $500
could set up you up.

Amazon

To profit massively and have free time on your hands
use FBA, Fulfillment by Amazon, service.
You need a Professional Seller account.
It’s $40.00 bucks a month. Don’t cry.

Create a Brand

The nature of any Internet marketing is the niche.
Pick a product category you are interested
in and makes money. The top categories on Amazon
are Supplements, Health and Beauty, Kitchen and Dining,
and Mobile Accessories. There are other categories but
these are the major players. Choose a category
with low competition your rise to the top will be quick.
Choose a high competition category and
moderate success can still set you up. It is best to aim
for a mix of both, although it comes down
to preference. So you creation of multiple
brands is a must. Two low competition
categories are “Sports and Outdoors” and “Travel”…you’re welcome.

The In-Demand Product

This is the hardest part of the journey. Luckily,
Amazon has a ranking system. Additionally, you may
want to make Google Trends your best friend.

Any product that is in the 1-1500 range is good.
Do not get hung up on trying to find the
“perfect” product. You want to build a brand,
you’ll be investing in many products.

See your products as stocks or investments.
Make sure your product is lightweight and small
to help you when it comes
to shipping cost. Do your research on regulations
on and certifications for your product in your country
(Supplements, I don’t suggest these on
your first go around).

Sourcing

Another level of difficulty, but you can make it easier
if you know what you’re doing.

Two ways to source:

You can Google [private label/wholesale/OEM
(insert product name here)] –or- you go to these sites:
Alibaba.com: Gold Supplier over one million in
sales to avoid getting scammed use Paypal
Aliexpress.com: wholesale marketplace
Dhgate: Wholesale, full OEM services sometimes,
free shipping sometimes,
FREE SHIPPING A HUGE PLUS.

AND ALWAYS ASK FOR SAMPLE

That's all for today, I am going to go into shipping,
FBA requirements, Amazon Listing, and promotion tomorrow...
Have a great day!

Want to Buy an Ecom Course? Let Me Save You 5000 Part 2

Welcome back!
Let's get right in to it.
Shipping

If you can get free shipping go for it.
Shipping is a lot to fit in here. But it is not complicated at all.

Courses try to confuse you, to make you think
it’s super difficult but it is not.

Factories have a lot of experience and can
guide you through the process you follow.

Want more details you go to:
http://www.chinaimportal.com/blog/sea-freight-shipping-from-china-guide/
Calculate custom charges and shipping cost
before it arrives, you don’t like surprises.

You need help talk to a freight forwarder.

FBA Requirements

Make sure you aren’t shipping more product
than you are allowed you have. You’ll begin
with a 5000 unit limit unless your product
is oversized like a yoga mat.

Have your supplier limit any additional instructions
or papers on outside of the boxes shipped.
Amazon provides a shipping label, tell your supplier
it should be the largest thing outside the box.
Amazon likes an invoice like document on
top of products shipped (inside the box).

Your product should have what’s called a UPC,
you buy one here: https://www.cheap-upc-barcode.com/bc_cheap.php

If this isn’t present in barcode form on your packaging,
you will need stickers applied to the packaging
of each item you ship. Sometimes your factory
will provide this service free, or Amazon can
apply them for you for a fee.

I usually have my first package from a new supplier
shipped to my house first to see if they
followed my instructions. After the initial shipment,
which should be small send them off to the
assigned FBA warehouse. After correcting the factory
you should be able to have them send it
direct to the FBA warehouses.

Now your Products on Amazon

4 things matter on Amazon, NOTHING ELSE.

PICTURES: Picture quality correlates with s
ales stock photos aren’t going to cut it.
Get pictures that feature your packaging.
Follow Amazon’s rules regarding pictures.

REVIEWS: You will need them to get sales.
Start with friends and family if not supportive.
Offer a giveaway and come to Reddit,
get there email address, bug them until they
leave a review.

SALES: You’ll need to bump your BSR. This raises you
for keywords your product should appear in .
After about 20 or so reviews from redditors, friends, and
family then go to a…

Launch Service

The “big” secret courses are pushing.
You probably heard of Zonblast, great but overpriced.
A cheaper service to get the same
exact results: HonestFew.com

Follow up with customers for reviews.
You are buying reviews and a
bump in keyword ranking.

Repeat/Diversify your Bonds

Oh, you’ve gotten some success…selling about 20-30 a day
now with no ad dollars spend on your part. Good, pick
another product and
start again within your brand.

Then create a new brand and begin again.
Repeat, Repeat…diversify your bonds (brands)
Anyone can do this… it is easy. I even
revealed the big “secret”…
the launch service.
